Where is Reichenstein Castle located?
The castle is located in Trechtingshausen in Rhineland-Palatinate, right in the Upper Middle Rhine Valley UNESCO World Heritage Site between Bingen and Bacharach.
Unfortunately, we can't help you with that.
Spending the night in a castle or a palace sparks the imagination. I'm sure you've read plenty of exciting stories about knights, castles, and princesses.
However, to date, no castle ghost has been spotted at our castle hotel, nor have any midnight hauntings—complete with the clanking of chains—been heard. What we can offer you, though, is plenty of good spirits! The young, dynamic, and warm-hearted team at the Burghotel Reichenstein knows exactly how to pamper you in every way possible!
What is the connection between Reichenstein Castle and the Ross & Rose Winery?
The Ross & Rose Winery and Reichenstein Castle belong together and complement each other as two special places in Trechtingshausen. While the castle towers high above the Rhine and offers views of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the winery is located down in the village.
The Ross & Rose Winery is a modern boutique guesthouse with a simple, digital concept. Guests can enjoy a relaxed atmosphere there and start their day with breakfast at the Puricelli restaurant at Reichenstein Castle.
The castle and the winery are just a few minutes apart. Together, they offer two different perspectives on the same region: up above, the historic castle with its restaurant and panoramic views; down below, the winery as a peaceful starting point for exploring the Rhine Valley. The team at Reichenstein Castle runs the winery with the same passion.
