Wild Game Weeks – Wild Times
26.09. - 14.10.
HISTORY MEETS DELICACIES
Game hunting was a tradition in the Kirsch-Puricelli family. Olga Kirsch-Puricelli’s ancestor Friedrich Wilhelm Utsch (1732-1795) was known as the Hunter of the Kurpfalz. For centuries, the Utsch family served the Mainz Electors as foresters of the Soonwald. Besides running the Rheinböller Cottage, gamekeeping was an important part of family tradition. Friedrich Wilhelm Utsch’s descendants, including Paul Puricelli and his father Nikolaus Kirsch-Puricelli, even collected a few trophies in their time. It’s no wonder that the Reichenstein Museum today houses over 1,500 hunting trophies from all over the world. We’ll treat you to the finest game from Forsthof Moller-Racke and the Hunsrück area. You’ll discover the region’s refined, diverse taste with roe deer, red deer, wild boar or wildfowl.
Let us take you on a journey through the forests of Bingen. Marcus Moller-Racke presents dreamlike nature photographs of the animals of the forest and stories about man and nature. Our kitchen will take care of the necessary provisions and treat you to the finest venison from the Forsthof Moller-Racke and from the Hunsrück region. Whether with roe, red deer or wild boar, you’ll discover the varied, fine taste of the region.
